This work must be experienced through holding it. It is about empty space in the sphere and translucency of air. Making a sphere is like an activity I pursue to clear my mind about intention.  Air flows through the sphere and net, through your body. The sphere moves through the net and through your hand. Experiencing the weight of my work, the weight of the individual balls as how they move on your hands. It is about putting less intention into thinking but more intimate interaction between you and the art piece.

This work makes sense only if you hold the piece and look inside. The film is about a clock which never changes its time. Look at that clock, its appearance, its stickers on the surface, and the time it is showing. Also, the appearance of each number, the color, and the particles inside the film. Look through the film and then look outside.

This is a study of an autumn leaf I picked from the ground. Study nature through hammering, mark-making, soldering, and imitating form. They are also objects in pairs: a fragile fleeting life with a precious desired life.

Hold this piece under the sun, and see light refraction through holes. Inspired by the days when I lived in the mountains of Yunnan, I looked at the sky and all those stars every night: shifting and blinking the colors they emitted.
