The public installation contains two parts. The first is the glass grass. Two glass grass sitting separately in two buildings, each of them is placed in front of a window. Two windows are opposite to each other. The second part is a string and people. The string connects two windows: the rest of my crit group is on one side of the building, I am on the other side of the window and building, waving my hands to the rest of the people who finds me, “I see you.”

The original inspiration came on the way to New York. The balcony and the glittering city in the distance as you take the subway. Made me feel how different the sights from afar were from when I was in the city of New York. The vistas are always romantic, giving a rambling, lovely feeling. As you slowly go deeper into the city and all things come to you, the original vision can never be restored. When the foreground connects to distance, cities look so incomparable and irretrievable. As soon as we begin to find our way into the city. The landscape vanishes just like the facade of a building as we enter it.

About the image of glass grass: eternal flow, soft grass frozen in time, fragile, lush grass. In fact, I want to freeze some fleeting feelings and save them. Grass and photography complement each other, because photography is also something frozen in time.
